Paul Sinha, known for his role on ITV's The Chase, has opened up about a deeply embarrassing moment. In his 2024 book, One Sinha Lifetime: Comedy, disaster and one man's quest for happiness, the 54-year-old quizzer reveals the moment happened during his appearance on the pilot episode of A League of Their Own on Sky in 2009.

Paul, who is also a professional quizzer, shared that his team captain was former cricketer Stuart Broad, who he had jokingly included in an imaginary "future husband" wishlist.

During the show, host James Corden turned to him and said: "So, Paul - I understand you really fancy Stuart." According to the Express, Paul didn't find this line of questioning offensive at the time, reports the Mirror.

He wrote in his book: "If you set yourself up as a gay comic who likes to playfully flirt with straight men, then you need to be able to own your persona on comedy panel shows." However, Paul revealed that comedian John Bishop, another guest on the show, delivered the "killer blow" when he asked: "Stuart, how does it feel to be sat next to a man who's w***ed over your photos? ".
