On Friday, City will depart for the United States for a four-game tour that takes in four states on the East Coast. Erling Haaland and Jack Grealish are the headline names in Pep Guardiola's group that is lacking most of its star players.
Only two who feaetured in the Euros will be present - Croatian pair Josko Gvardiol and Mateo Kovacic - with the rest not reporting back until City return to the UK.
It is the first time since 2018 City have travelled for a tour without most of their squad. That will leave a number of youngsters to make up the numbers, and as City await confirmation of their first signing, the tour will be shadowed by as many questions around who is not there as who is.
