A terrified woman who saw her family home burning on Facebook says her dad has lost everything in the horror blaze.Katie Hagart panicked when she saw a video of her dad's Dunfermline home up in flames on December 30.
The 32-year-old raced to the scene to see ambulance crews parked on the street and firefighters battling the inferno.Her dad Andrew Hagart, 66, was pulled from the property and rushed to hospital.
The pensioner was placed on a drip and treated for smoke inhalation. Katie says her dad has been left with nothing but the clothes he was wearing.
She told the Record: "I saw a video of a house on fire on Facebook and then I realised it was my dad's house. "I panicked and rushed down to the scene and saw all of the emergency services. "They had already pulled my dad out and he was taken away in an ambulance. "A police officer told me they believed our dog Dexter was dead.
