He is joining the BBC’s presenting team at the games but he won't be in the commentary box for his daughter's events, telling the Radio Times: "It's too close to my heart".
While fans have been fascinated by Andrea's celebrity link, of course to the Team GB star "he's just my dad". She told BBC Newsbeat.
