Taylor Swift just broke another record as fans are rushing to pick up tickets to see her Eras Tour concert film in theaters next month.

This one was previously held by Marvel! The 33-year-old “Shake It Off” pop icon announced that her best-selling concert tour would be heading to theaters on October 13.

Within hours of the presale opening, she’d brought in $10 million. The updated sales number after a full day are so massive that they blow Marvel’s previous record out of the water. Read more about Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour concert film presale… According to Variety, after a full day of availability, Taylor‘s movie generated $26 million for AMC Theatres.

That’s almost $10 million more than the previous record-holder – Spider-Man: No Way Home – generated in 2019. The Marvel movie, which starred Tom Holland, brought in $16.9 million in the same time frame.
