Taylor Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department is setting a new record. The album earned 163,000 equivalent album units in the U.S.

in the week ending July 11, and has now been No. 1 for 12 weeks in a row since May, via Billboard. It now beats Whitney Houston’s 1987 album Whitney to become the only album by a woman to spend its first 12 weeks at No.

1, with Whitney‘s album previously spending 11 of its first weeks at No. 1. Keep reading to find out more… It’s also now Taylor‘s longest-running No.

1 album to date. Only two other albums have spent at least their first 12 weeks at No. 1: Morgan Wallen’s One Thing at a Time and Stevie Wonder’s Songs in the Key of Life.
