Sunderland head coach Tony Mowbray has admitted Manchester United loanee Amad sometimes finds Championship matches too easy for himself after scoring another impressive individual goal against Birmingham City.
With the scores level at the Stadium of Light on Saturday afternoon, the winger received the ball on the right and drove at the Birmingham defence before jinking past before cutting past one player and evading the attention of another to fire a left-footed effort from just inside the penalty area into the bottom corner past goalkeeper John Ruddy.
The strike was the United youngster's 12th goal of the season and keeps Sunderland's hopes of finishing in the play-off places alive.
Mowbray was full of praise for the Ivory Coast international after another match-winning performance from the 20-year-old in the week he was shortlisted for the Championship's young player of the year award.
