Strictly Come Dancing confirm Love Island star 'with experience' for 2024 series
ok.co.ukTasha Ghouri has been confirmed for Strictly 2024.The Love Island beauty, 25, was the sixth celebrity contestant to be confirmed for the BBC dancing competition and she says it is a "dream come true" to take to the iconic dancefloor.
Speaking about joining the star-studded line-up, she said: "Pinch me, I can't believe I'm going to be on Strictly Come Dancing!
I’ve been watching the show since I was little – it's a firm Ghouri family favourite - so this is a total dream come true. I know it's going to be an unforgettable experience and I hope to represent and make everyone proud out on that dancefloor." Tasha has competed in a number of major dance events and has even featured in music videos, sparking concern she will have an unfair advantage over her celebrity co-stars.
The first five contestants, JB Gill, Wynne Evans, Toyah Willcox, Chris McCausland and Dr Punam Krishan were confirmed earlier this week.
