South Lanarkshire Council will work in partnership to safeguard local youths.Following a grant of £150,000 being awarded to the council and partners Covey Befriending and the University of the West of Scotland, a project to protect young people from non-familial harm such as criminal and sexual exploitation has been launched.Councillors at the Social Work Resources Committee on Thursday, December 6, heard of the council’s plans to work in partnership to tackle the issue.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
