Luis Palma's apology for Honduras crashing out of the CONCACAF Nations League has fallen on deaf ears for one internet personality.The Celtic star saw a 2-0 lead from the first leg wiped out as their clash ended in disaster against Mexico.

Palma's men lost a 110th minute goal from Edson Alvarez take their knockout tie in to penalties, which the Mexicans won 4-2 on Wednesday at the quarter-final stage.

The tricky winger, who has become an emerging Parkhead favourite under Brendan Rodgers since making a summer move from Greek side Aris, took to social media to issue an apology to fans after the defeat at the Aztec stadium.

Celtic punters were also put on notice when the 23-year-old was said to be in 'discomfort' with an injury last week, but the Honduran played an uninterrupted game.And Japanese-American philanthropist Shin Fujiyama, who co-founded Students Helping Honduras which helps to tackle poverty in the country, took to his own social media following to share a message of support for Palma.
