The actresses surprised the audience at the live taping of Netflix‘s I Like to Watch, which hosted a special screening of “Joan Is Awful,” the first episode of Black Mirror Season 6, at The Paris Theater in New York City. Keep reading to find out more… Following a screening of the episode, the two – who star in the episode – came out in the dark and surprised the crowd, hilariously introducing themselves as Trixie and Katya before the RuPaul’s Drag Race alums joined them onstage.
Later on, the drag duo provided their amusing reactions to highlights from the first episode, which will be featured in an upcoming episode of “I Like to Watch.” The event also included an introduction from the director of the Black Mirror episode, Ally Pankiw.
Joan Is Awful is the first episode of Black Mirror Season 6. In the episode, an average woman (Murphy) is stunned to discover a global streaming platform has launched a prestige TV drama adaptation of her life in which she is portrayed by Hollywood A-lister Salma Hayek Pinault (Hayek Pinault).
