The sadistic teenage girl who killed Brianna Ghey heard 'unkind voices' in her head, with safeguarding services having 'no reason to be concerned' about their contact, a review has found.
Scarlett Jenkinson confessed to her GP, teachers and parents that the voices were 'saying unkind things and putting her down' in early February 2023.
But when a crisis meeting with a mental health worker was called, they reassured Jenkinson's mother she was not a risk to herself or others, the Mirror reports. The killer teen had been due to have a face-to-face meeting with the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services later that month, but had been remanded in custody for murder.
