Joe Otterson TV Reporter The AMC series based on The Talamasca from the works of Anne Rice has cast Nicholas Denton in the lead role, Variety has learned.
The show was first reported to be in development at AMC in 2023, with the basic cabler formally greenlighting the show June 2024.
AMC has ordered six episodes, with the show set to go into production in Manchester, England next month. It is slated to premiere on AMC and AMC+ in 2025.
The series is part of the so-called Anne Rice Immortal Universe at AMC, as the network acquired the rights to Rice’s best-selling book series “The Vampire Chronicles” and “The Lives of the Mayfair Witches,” which encompass 18 titles in total, back in 2020.
