Ryan Gosling has shared a lengthy statement in response to his Oscar nomination for Barbie and the snubs for Margot Robbie and Greta Gerwig.

While both Margot and Greta actually DID receive Oscar nominations, they were both snubbed in the categories where they were most deserving. FULL NOMINATION LIST: See everyone who was nominated here! Ryan received a Best Supporting Actor nomination for playing Ken, Margot received a Best Picture nomination for producing the movie, and Greta received a Best Adapted Screenplay nomination for writing the film. Margot was snubbed in Best Actress while Greta was snubbed in Best Director. Ryan is sharing his thoughts on those omissions. He continued, “But there is no Ken without Barbie, and there is no Barbie movie without Greta Gerwig and Margot Robbie, the two people most responsible for this history-making, globally-celebrated film.
