ok.co.ukJosie Gibson opened up on why people won’t catch her on dating apps anytime soon, amid her hunt for love.This Morning's Josie, who has been fairly private about her dating life in the past, was presenting the show along with Dermot O’Leary on Wednesday, 21 February.The pair were talking to an expert on ‘Why dating apps are addictive’ as Josie revealed why she ‘doesn’t use apps’ to meet anyone.
White talking to the experts, Josie said, “This is why I don’t use apps because I’ve met people I have not fancied at the beginning and then they’ve had that magic about them and I’ve been in love, OK? “And you will not get that from a picture that you are swiping past”.
The expert added, "You're such a romantic Josie.The way me and my mates think of it when we've been doing it is you're basically going on a bunch of dates with random people and it is kind of like looking for that needle in a haystack." Josie hasn't kept the fact she’s single a secret, in fact on her I’m a Celebrity promo statement, she said, “"Snakes I'm quite good with actually, I've fallen in love with a few of them".
In the jungle last year, Josie told restaurateur Fred Sirieix that she was looking for a ‘handsome man’. In January 2023 Josie was formed to shut down rumours that she was dating her colleague Sam Porter after they were photographed together in front of the Eiffel Tower - and not for the first time as she had to do it before with a celeb hairdresser.
