Emma Myers stars as the determined Pip Fitz-Amobi in the series, who suspects there's more to the story of a local schoolgirl's murder and decides to investigate it herself.
Zain Iqbal also features prominently as Ravi Singh, Pip's boyfriend and secondary protagonist, who is introduced as the brother of Salil Singh (played by Rahul Pattni), a teenager accused of killing his girlfriend.
Both Ravi and Pip believe in Salil's innocence. In both the US and UK versions, Ravi was born to Nisha and Mohan Singh. The only discrepancy between the two is Ravi's birth year; 1997 for the UK version and 1999 for the US adaptation.
