Jamie Genevieve has admitted that she is turning her placenta into capsules once she has given birth to her first child. The influencer, who is currently 37 weeks pregnant, took part in a Q&A with her fans who asked her personal questions about her journey into motherhood.

She revealed that she is hoping to have a water birth but will be happy as long as her baby arrives safely. And she reckons after the delivery, she will be turning her placenta into capsules to hopefully help her hormones - something she said has freaked out her husband, Jack. The placenta is an organ attached to the womb that delivers oxygen and nutrients to a growing baby.

It is expelled from the body after the baby is delivered and unless it is donated for stem cells, is usually discarded as medical waste.Speaking about her birth plan on her YouTube channel, which has amassed almost one million subscribers, she said: "One thing that I think is absolutely wild that I am doing is - and I can't believe I am doing it but I am because, why not?

And Jack is freaked out by it but I am doing placenta encapsulation."She added: "I am getting it made into tablets to take and I honestly don't know how I feel about it myself, but I am doing it because it can't hurt and that's going to make everyone think I am nuts but I am quite excited about it.
