The Duke of Sussex and Duke of York will have no formal roles throughout the coronation, according to Buckingham Palace. Harry and Andrew, who are no longer official working royals, will still attend the service on Saturday.
However, they will not be responsible for any duties. The pair will also be noticeably absent from the procession behind the Gold State Coach which will carry the newly crowned King and Queen from Westminster Abbey back to Buckingham Palace after the Coronation ceremony.
It will also be Harry's first public appearance after he criticised Charles, Camilla, and the Prince and Princess of Wales in his memoir Spare. It is understood that Harry will make a quick exit from the ceremony, flying back to the US to spend time with his son on his birthday.
