Gemma Atkinson had jokingly pleaded 'give me strength' as she replied to a negative comment she received after giving fans a glimpse into her daughter and unborn son's new rooms.

The Hits Radio announced back in January that she and her fiance Gorka Marquez are expecting their second child together. Gemma, 38, has since been keeping her fans updated on her pregnancy with her usual humour and honesty.

Last month, she shared how she and Gorka were planning a change to their Greater Manchester abode ahead of their son's arrival.

Talking to the camera in one of their empty bedrooms, she said in a video on her Instagram Story: "Big day today... Mia's moving into her big bedroom." She then explained: "Well, she's not moving into it today but we're decorating it today because I want to get her into her big room before little man comes.

There are plenty of ways to parse that initial number, but for the third and final installment in the James Gunn-directed Marvel trilogy, it’s going to be less about the opening weekend — and all about the hold. That’s industry parlance for how sharply (or not) a movie’s ticket sales fall in their subsequent weekends of theatrical release. It’s hard to knock a film that opened above $100 million. Yet analysts were expecting a stronger start for “Vol. 3” because it’s the last of Marvel’s legacy tentpoles (at least, that have been announced) and because its predecessor, 2017’s sequel “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2,” enjoyed a much bigger $146 million debut. It’s not a problem as long as audiences keep showing up.

Courteeners, English Teacher and Louis Tomlinson were among the acts to be honoured at the first-ever Northern Music Awards.The inaugural ceremony – hosted by the UK’s largest music therapy charity, Nordoff And Robbins – took place at the Albert Hall in Manchester last night (April 23) to celebrate northern artists, festivals, venues and industry figures.Presented by BBC Radio 6 Music DJ Chris Hawkins, the event featured live performances from Courteeners frontman Liam Fray, as well as English Teacher, Lisa Stansfield, The K’s and more.Guest presenters from the region included former Manchester United footballer Gary Neville, New Order‘s Gillian Gilbert and Stephen Norris, and Grimsby-born actor Thomas Turgoose (This Is England). ‌ Neville awarded Courteeners with the Band Of The Year prize. Responding to the nod, Fray said: “It’s really nice to be in a room with this much talent… but this isn’t about us, it’s about Nordoff And Robbins and the work that they do, it’s about music, and the way they’re changing lives with music and sometimes even saving lives with music.”The singer also delivered an acoustic rendition of Courteeners’ classic single ‘Not Nineteen Forever’ and a cover of Oasis‘ ‘The Masterplan’.Rising Leeds band English Teacher picked up the Best Newcomer award, and performed ‘Albatross’ and ‘Albert Road’ from their acclaimed debut album ‘This Could Be Texas’ (watch the video below)..@Englishteac_her commanding the stage with the first song off their album.
