Planned new nursery in Wishaw set for completion later this year

A planned new nursery in Wishaw has been targeted for completion in May. As part of the Early Learning and Childcare Expansion programme in North Lanarkshire, the council is establishing a new nursery at the former community centre building in Wishawhill.

The construction programme to repurpose the community centre facility into a nursery has been subject to repeated delays with previous target completion dates of July and then October 2022 failing to be achieved.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
