Stranger Things‘ fourth season was split into two parts and the first part fell into the eligibility window for the 2022 Emmy Awards while the second part is in the eligibility window for the 2023 show.
Only one actor from the show is eligible for awards consideration this year though. Why? The Emmys have a rule that a series must have six episodes or more in a season to be eligible for the Drama Series category or the main series acting categories.

Dacre Montgomery, who made a surprise appearance in the episodes as the deceased Billy, has been submitted for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series award, according to Variety.
The category is expected to be a tough field as there are many guest actors in The Last of Us, Succession, and Better Call Saul who are also eligible.
