Piers Morgan has weighed in on the This Morning drama following Phillip Schofield's statement and compared it to the 1992 crime movie Reservoir Dogs. The former Good Morning Britain presenter, 58, said that the ongoing scandal would see a lot of “corpsed careers”.
This comes after Phil, 61, sensationally admitted to an affair with a 'younger male colleague'. Taking to Twitter to share his thoughts on the situation, he penned: "I fear we’re now entering the Reservoir Dogs phase of the This Morning scandal… and it could end up with a lot of corpsed careers."Piers also shared a message calling for ‘a lot more questions’ to be asked at the channel.
It comes as Phillip took to Instagram to hit out at “loud voices” who have blasted him and This Morning for its “toxicity”.In a post on Instagram, Phillip wrote: “Now I no longer work on @thismorning I am free to say this.
I hope you have noticed that it’s the same handful of people with a grudge against me or the show who seem to have the loudest voice.“This morning IS the best show to work on, with the best people.
