North Lanarkshire panto Jack and the Beanstalk ready for move to Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility

New details have been revealed of North Lanarkshire’s relocated panto performances as the cast get set to raise the curtain at this year’s new sports centre home.This year’s seven-week run of Jack and the Beanstalk is taking place at Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility because the regular venue of Motherwell Theatre is closed indefinitely due to the discovery of collapse-risk aerated concrete in its roof.Organisers say the new location is being transformed into a full-scale performance venue for the popular festive shows, which begin on November 14, with seating from the closed venue’s adjacent concert hall even being brought in for the show’s run.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
