Met Office weather forecast as sun shines in Greater Manchester on Good Friday

The Easter weekend is off to a bright start in Greater Manchester with glorious sunshine forecast on Good Friday. According to the Met Office, temperatures are expected to reach highs of 14C in some boroughs of Greater Manchester, with sunshine forecast throughout the day.

Forecasters predict a "fine and dry day with plenty of lengthy sunny spells" with some "lighter winds" for the first day of the four-day bank holiday weekend.
