Police are attempting to trace possible witnesses to a fatal crash that saw a car ploughed into a tree, tragically killing a teenager and injuring three others. 'Fun-loving' Felix Davies, 19, was pronounced dead at the scene following the collision on the A530 near Whitchurch at around 6.25pm on Easter Sunday (April 9).

He was the front passenger in the grey Ford Fiesta that had smashed into a tree. Three other passengers, an 18-year-old man, a 22-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman were taken to hospital to be treated for injuries. He has now been bailed pending further enquiries. Cheshire Constabulary have been conducting 'extensive' investigations following the collision and are now directly appealing to the driver of a black vehicle, similar to a Nissan Juke and the driver of a white box type van seen in the area on the A530 just before the collision to come forward.

Inspector Steve Griffiths said: “The A530 would have had been quite busy at this time and there would have been several drivers who may have seen something that could assist us in establishing the exact circumstances of the incident. “As such, I would also appeal to anyone who was in the area and may have information that could assist us, to please get in touch.
