Met Office gives verdict on when 'very warm' weather could hit UK

The Met Office has predicted warm weather to sweep across the country by mid-October. It comes after Storm Agnes battered the UK with showers and unusually high wind speeds.

Fortunately, conditions may improve significantly, with some forecasters predicting that temperatures could reach as high as 25C.

Data from Netweather.tv shows warm weather from France will push up through the South East of England, with temperatures beginning to rise significantly from Saturday, October 7.

Despite this, the Met Office has not provided a solid date for when temperatures increase.
