Meghan, Duchess of Sussex (born Rachel Meghan Markle; August 4, 1981) is an American member of the British royal family and former actress. Meghan Markle ignored on her birthday as Royal Family fail to send their wishes

Meghan Markle appears to have been snubbed by the Royal Family on her birthday as she has not received any public messages via Instagram.The Duchess of Sussex turned 42 yesterday and, despite being wished a 'happy birthday' from members of the Firm in previous years, there have been no Instagram posts this time around.William and Kate have not posted any well wishes for Meghan on their Twitter or Instagram accounts, with Charles and Camilla also failing to upload anything.The Mirror reports that instead, William and Kate used Twitter to share their congratulations for the team behind the documentary Rhino Man, as it was announced they'd been nominated for an award.

The couple wrote: "Congratulations to the RHINO MAN team! Such an important story being told, great to see it being recognised."Meghan and Harry stepped down from their royal duties in 2020, but since then, members of the family have wished the Duchess a happy birthday in recent years.

When the couple first upped sticks and moved to the US, it was the late Queen who led Meghan's birthday wishes.A snap was shared of Meghan and Queen Elizabeth on the Royal Family's Instagram account with the caption: "Wishing the Duchess of Sussex a very happy birthday."Other members of the family, including the now-King and Queen, also sent their happy birthday messages to Meghan.

The following year, William and Kate were amongst the royals to wish Meghan a happy birthday on Twitter. They wrote: "Wishing a happy 40th birthday to the Duchess of Sussex!"And last year, similar messages were posted on Twitter, but with one key difference on Instagram.
