Martin Freeman has opened up about his true feelings towards ex-partner Amanda Abbington.The couple were together for 16 years and welcomed two children.

Amanda, 50, is currently in the spotlight due to an ongoing BBC investigation into Strictly Come Dancing after she made allegations of bullying and misconduct during rehearsals.

She also labelled her professional partner Giovanni Pernice's behaviour in the studio as "abusive, cruel and mean". Giovanni has vehemently denied all the accusations against him and has encouraged the public to 'ignore' Amanda's claims.

A close friend of the Italian star added that his legal team have found evidence that will conclusively "clear his name", and demonstrate that Amanda's allegations are not entirely accurate.
