Married at First Sight newlyweds Rupert and Evelyn and Hugo and Tayla enjoyed their honeymoons on Wednesday night's show, and it went as expected for one couple who was left with nothing but an awkward few days away.

Fans were left 'cringing' at socially awkward electrician Rupert who admitted his "sexy" new bride model Evelyn makes him nervous.

But it was Hugo, 32, and Tayla's honeymoon in Victoria's wine region which left fans fuming over the 27-year-old nurse's treatment of her new husband which he even branded as "inhumane." The account executive was banished to sleep on the couch on their first night away together when he pointed out that due to his height he "wouldn't be able to even fit on it," as he promised his new bride he would "curl up on the edge of the bed" if he had to.Self-confessed 'control freak' Tayla wasn't having any of it as she suggested he slept on the floor with pillows and then thought she struck gold with the wonderful idea he should bed down for the night on the window sill as it was slightly bigger."A cushion as big as a pizza slice, you are asking for respect?

It goes both ways Tayla," Hugo told his new wife."I am not happy with how she is conducting herself - she said in her vows she was kind and fair but it's her way or the high way so yeah not happy," he added as he tucked himself into the window. We saw later in the programme the couple went out for the day to play a game of croquet when Tayla thought she would 'ramp up the fun' with a bet, whoever won got the bed.But she failed to mention until she bet her new husband that it would mean who would be getting the bed for their entire time in the experiment, meaning she expected him to be on the couch for weeks on end.
