The man left with multiple pieces of jewellery from the store, but the value of the items he made off with has not been confirmed.
The robbery was reported at around 3.45pm. Greater Manchester Police have now issued an image of a hooded mine riding a bike as part of an appeal for more information and are urging anyone with information to come forward. Detective Constable Rowley from GMP Bolton division said: “We understand this image isn’t the best quality, and does not show a face, but I would urge anyone who may have been in the area at the time, or who may have seen this individual and recognise him, to please come forward. “No matter how small the information may seem, it could prove vital to the investigation.” Information can be shared by calling police on 0161 856 5757 quoting log 2002 of 9/3/23.
