An Oldham man has spoken of his terror after he was attacked by an 'out of control' bulldog on his walk home. Chris Oakes, 40, was just yards from his front door when he was leapt upon by the animal.

He says he 'thought I was going to die' and 'felt my bone breaking in its mouth'. The dog snapped his arm, tore the skin open and ferociously bit the broken bone, leaving him in need of hospital treatment and unable to work.

He was rushed to the Royal Oldham Hospital where he was treated for three days, reports The Mirror. READ MORE: Teacher found NOT GUILTY of sexually abusing children by touching their hair or shoulders The decorator said: “I was screaming, my girlfriend was screaming.
