A man who used a 'safe and secure' car park at Manchester Airport discovered his car had disappeared when he returned. Brian Askew booked to park his blue Vauxhall Corsa at the Jetparks Ringway car park using the airport's website, before a three-day break to Guernsey.

But as he returned and walked around the car park after being dropped off by a shuttle bus, the Corsa was nowhere to be seen.

Since the ordeal unfolded last October, Brian says he has spent the past year battling for compensation. He insists he just wants to 'draw a line under it', the Liverpool Echo reports.
