A man has been arrested and charged in connection with a fire at a Scots home.Emergency services rushed to Chalmers Street, Dunfermline, shortly after 10pm on Wednesday to reports of a fire in the communal area of a property.One man was treated for smoke inhalation at the scene by paramedics.Police have now confirmed a 36-year-old man has arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
He is due to appear at Dunfermline Sheriff Court on Monday, June 12.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "A 36-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a fire on Chalmers Street, Dunfermline, which took place around 10.10pm on Wednesday, 7 June, 2023."He is due to appear at Dunfermline Sheriff Court on Monday, 12 June, 2023."
