Love Island star says he can take on Stormzy as he sets sights on Maya Jama
ok.co.ukThere are just a few days to go before the doors to the Love Island villa open on Monday 3 June and 12 young singletons start their summers in the sunshine, looking for romance under the watchful eye of host Maya Jama.
One of the lucky islanders is Ayo Odukoya, a 25 year old model and footballer from Canning Town in London, who is already hoping to be the peacemaker of the group when tensions rise (which they tend to do). “I'm a very peaceful individual, so I feel like everything can be dealt with a conversation, and I feel like I might be a bit of a peacemaker inside the villa,” he says. “I don't clash heads with people much.
I'd say I'm a very easy-going and relaxed person, so I don't think it would be me in the thick of it, to be honest. I'm a very easy person.” However, Ayo admits that he hasn’t ever watched Love Island, so he may not be ready for how intense things can get under the Spanish sun. “I haven't watched the show!
So I'm not so into the mix of the show and what's going on,” he says. “I've had a look at a few seasons as I was going through the process just to have a look.
