Former members of Lizzo‘s team are coming forward in support of the lawsuit against the star brought forward by three of her dancers.
Following the news that the three dancers are suing the 35-year-old “Juice” singer for sexual harassment and a hostile work environment among other accusations, one of her former dancers and creative directors spoke out on social media to voice their support for the dancers. “For clarification, I’m not apart of the lawsuit – but this was very much my experience in my time there… Big shoutout to the dancers who had the courage to bring this to light,” Courtney Hollinquest wrote on her Instagram Story, along with a link to an article about the suit. Keep reading to find out more… “Echoing what @cquestt said,” wrote former director Quinn Wilson on her own Instagram Story, who worked on videos like “Juice” and “Cuz I Love You.” According to her bio, she worked on all aspects of Lizzo‘s creative output, from album artwork, video direction and stage design, notably the Grammy performances. “I haven’t been apart of that world for around three years, for a reason.
I very much applaude [sic] the dancers courage to bring this to light. And I grieve parts of my own experience. Id appreciate space to understand my feelings,” she continued.
