Lewis Capaldi
Lewis Capaldi (born 7 October 1996) is a Scottish singer-songwriter. He was nominated for the Critics' Choice Award at the 2019 Brit Awards. In March 2019, his single "Someone You Loved" topped the UK Singles Chart where it remained for seven weeks, and in October 2019 it reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100. On 17 May 2019 he released his debut album, Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent, which remained at the top of the UK Albums Chart for six weeks.

Despite Lewis Capaldi taking a break from his musical career to focus on his health, the Scottish hitmaker has managed to still leave a huge impact on his beloved fans and scooped a win at the National Television Awards on Tuesday night.The Forget Me singer sadly couldn't be in attendance at the glitzy event held at London's O2 arena as he is currently in America, but he sent in a video message to thank everyone for all the support and admitted being "blown away" at winning the award.Lewis was nominated for his Netflix documentary 'How I'm Feeling Now' which delved into the more personal parts of his life including his battles with Tourettes which he says got worse with his growing fame across the globe.ITV presenter Kate Garraway was handing out the award, as she said: "The authored documentary is often pain for the author sharing their story but they believe they have a story they need to share on behalf of those who don't have a voice"When done well it can touch hearts and change lives in many ways which others haven't got to." The Scottish singing legend's documentary was put up against nominees Deborah James: Bowelbabe In Her Own Words, Matt Willis: Fighting Addiction and Rob Burrow: Living with MND.Addressing his win, Lewis said: "Thank you so so so much if you voted or watched my Netflix documentary, it means the world. "It never ceases to blow me away how much this documentary has impacted everyone," as he thanked everyone involved in its production." He added: "I am currently in America or I would be there.
