Taylor Swift made an appearance on Sunday Night Football to cheer on Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce in a game against the New York Jets.

Ahead of kickoff at MetLife Stadium, The Voice host Carson Daly made a taped appearance to explain football to Swifties tuning in to see Swift. “We all know this is not just any Sunday Night Football game,” Daly said followed by all the news coverage over Swift and Kelce’s rumored romance.

Daly continued, “We got a call from our friends at NBC Sports asking us to put tonight’s story in language that the legions of Swifties would understand.” The singing competition host went on to explain where each of the NFL teams stands in the league at this moment while making references to Swift’s hit songs.

Some of the titles that Daly mentioned included “Blank Space,” “Shake It Off,” “Wildest Dreams” and ended with the perfectly titled “Welcome to New York.” Swift’s appearance on Sunday Night Football was teased by NBC Sports earlier this week when they used the singer-songwriter’s “Welcome to New York” as the theme song for their promo.
