A seriously injured eight week-old kitten was found dumped in a Primark bag by binmen on their rounds, the RSPCA has revealed.
Sadly, the charity said she could not be saved. An investigation is now underway, with the RPSCA saying the injuries the kitten suffered are likely to have been 'intentional'.
She was found with head injuries, a broken jaw and a cord tied around her leg beside a communal bin in Moss Side earlier this month. The RPSCA is now appealing for anyone with information about the black and white female kitten to come forward.
A spokesman said in a statement: "The black and white female kitten - who was inside a Primark shopping bag - was taken to a PDSA hospital where sadly she passed away.
