A young Scots woman who died just months after a shock cancer diagnosed has been described as "beautiful person" by her devastated loved ones.Cheryl Robertson, from Glasgow, died surrounded by friends and family on September 5 after being diagnosed with four ALK-positive lung cancer in March.The 28-year-old procurement buyer had no symptoms of the condition which affects non-smokers when she informed the cancer had spread to both lungs and her lymph nodes.
Heartbroken partner Robert Cameron has now paid tribute to Cheryl, describing her as his biggest supporter, Glasgow Live reports.
Robert said: "She was unknowingly more a support to me, such a beautiful person inside and out. She was so thoughtful and kind."When I met her, I was a bit lost and she made me see the good in myself.
I miss her big beautiful smile, she called herself 'wee cheddar cheese'."It's the worst pain I have ever felt in my life, the end of the month would have been our first anniversary.
