Derek McInnes is relishing the chance to register back-to-back league wins for the first time this season.Kilmarnock host the manager's former side Aberdeen on Sunday lunchtime live on Sky after beating Livingston 3-1 last week.
And now he's hoping to dig the sword further into his ex-side who threw away a 2-0 home lead to PAOK on Thursday night to lose 3-2 in the Europa Conference League.Ahead of Sunday's clash he said: “We spoke when we came back after the international break about working towards the next break and the five games.“We have a little mini-target we want to try and attain and have obviously got off to a good start with three points [against Livingston].“There’s three home games within that five and that’s the first one gone with another coming now.
We want to try and reach what we feel we are capable of.“We are certainly capable of winning on Sunday if we perform as we did last Saturday, so it’s just getting that consistency of performance.
Hopefully a consistency of individual and team performance gives you that consistency of results, even if there’s no guarantee with that.“But we certainly feel that we have been in all games.
