Kate Garraway has confessed that she and her children still live in fear of the possibility that her husband, Derek Draper, could die at any minute despite him now living at home.

Derek Draper, 56, suffered severe complications from contracting the virus in March 2020 and spent months in the hospital battling for his life.

As he battled to stay alive, Kate's husband was placed into a coma and suffered brain inflammation, kidney failure, damage to his liver and pancreas.

Derek is now back at home but requires round-the-clock care, with Kate opening up in an interview about how 'the fear of him dying' has never left her.
