Rebecca Rubin Senior Film and Media Reporter “Joker: Folie à Deux” suffered an even worse box office debut than initially expected.

The off-beat comic book sequel, starring Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga, brought in a tragic $37.8 million in its first weekend of release.
