And Sweden's win against the Matildas appeared thanks to star players Kosovare Asllani and Fridolina Rolfö, with the latter scoring the first goal of the game in 30th minute - before Kosovare swooped in with the second during the 63rd minute.
But who are the two sporting sensations? From flying off the handle to achieving Olympic stardom, the two scorers have quite the careers on their backs.
Playing as their outspoken midfielder, Kosovare made her debut for Sweden 15 years ago and captained her country for the first time in the recent Algarve Cup.
