Love Island alumni Amy Day has revealed how she ended up in hospital after suffering a nasty hand injury. The 27 year old, who appeared on the ITV2 dating show in 2021, shared a picture of her A&E visit with her fans on social media.

She posted an image to Instagram showing her in the unit wearing a pair of black stilettos. The former reality star captioned the photo: "Perfect A&E footwear.

Just perfect." Amy then posted another picture showing her little finger wrapped in a bandage. She wrote as a caption: "Having my nail ripped off was definitely not on my agenda today but hey." Amy appeared to be in high spirits though - despite her finger being bandaged up.

She joked: "Who wants to write on it?" Amy appeared on Love Island season seven after entering the villa as a Casa Amor bombshell, eventually winning the affections of Hugo Hammond.Their romance was short-lived however, with the pair splitting as soon as they were dumped from the villa.
