ok.co.ukStrictly Come Dancing's professional dancer Graziano Di Prima has been 'axed' by the BBC following allegations of misconduct towards his ex-partner Zara McDermott.The Mail on Sunday has said that the Italian star was confronted by the bosses of the Saturday night dance show this week and his contract was terminated.The BBC confirmed in a statement that Graziano was no longer part of the line up.This comes just two days after they were hit with video evidence, which is said to be of Graziano "repeatedly kicked and hit" his celebrity dance partner while training for the show last year.
Speaking to the Mirror , a source said: "As soon as it was viewed, it was game over for Graziano. His Strictly career was dead and buried and there was never any way back.
Everyone’s stomachs just dropped when the footage became available, and our hearts went out to Zara who clearly had been suffering in silence.The key then was to act promptly, which they did." On Saturday, 13 July, the Italian professional expressed serious regret over the events leading to his exit from the popular BBC dance show.
In a shock statement, he admitted: "My intense passion and determination to win might have affected my training regime."
