A woman was kicked off the waiting list for an operation - after hospital staff mistakenly recorded her weight as 40 kilograms heavier than she was.

Jennifer Newby had already been waiting for surgery for more than a year since she was first crippled by what doctors believed to be a painful ovarian cyst.
