Chilling footage shows an injured Wayne Couzens rocking back and forth in a prison cell after murdering Sarah Everard while telling a police officer 'I'm in a dark place'.
The killer cop can be seen with a white bandage on his head as he is quizzed about the 33-year-old's disappearance at Wandsworth Police station.
From behind a protective screen, a hunched and agitated Couzens can be seen swaying from side to side, as he is shown a picture of Miss Everard, who he had kidnapped, raped, and murdered eight days earlier in south London.
The disturbing clip is shown in a new BBC documentary Sarah Everard: The Search for Justice. The serving Met Police officer had been deemed medically fit to be interview after self-harming in custody.
