Nicole Makrigannis decided to play the Set for Life lottery on March 18, the grand prize seeing the winner receive £10,000 every month for 30 years.

In a peculiar twist of fate, each of the winning numbers were exactly one above Nicole’s set of numbers. Nicole’s numbers were 02, 11, 19, 38, 43 with the ‘life ball’ 06, while the winning numbers were 03, 12, 20, 39, 44 with the ‘life ball’ 06.
