Paris Saint-Germain are interested in bringing Tottenham Hotspur captain Hugo Lloris back to French football. A World Cup winner with a record 145 appearances for France, Lloris would be deployed by PSG as an elite back-up to Gianluigi Donnarumma.

The 36-year-old has been offered to a number of Champions League clubs, including Internazionale, who are concluding negotiations on the sale of Andre Onana to Manchester United.With a single season remaining on his contract and Tottenham signing Guglielmo Vicario from Empoli last month as his replacement, Lloris' representatives hope to be granted a free transfer following 11 seasons at the the London club. Record Sport, however, understands that Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy will seek a transfer fee from PSG at what Lloris recently described as “the end of an era”.Tottenham recruited Vicario, “a commanding goalkeeper with the ability to play out from the back”, after incoming coach Ange Postecoglou prioritised the position in his first Premier League window.

An earlier attempt to sign David Raya fell through after Tottenham failed to put an economic structure in place which met Brentford's valuation of the Spain international.PSG's move for Lloris is dependent on Keylor Navas leaving Paris this summer.
