On Wednesday night (October 30), the 37-year-old How I Met Your Father actress and the 37-year-old musician dressed up as 45-year-old twin brothers Benji and Joel Madden as they met up with Joel – whom Hilary dated from 2004 to 2006 – and his wife Nicole Richie for dinner. Nicole, 43, later shared a photo on her Instagram Story of Hilary and Matt in costume at the restaurant. Joel shared the same photo on his Instagram Story, writing, “Protect @matthewkoma and @hilaryduff at all costs.” Despite breaking up nearly a decade ago, Hilary and Joel have remained friendly and often hang out with their spouses.
